Stars rolled up to the red carpet on March 4 for the 90th annual Oscars with all the glitz and glamour associated with the famous awards show. The night began with an introduction from second-time host Jimmy Kimmel with comedic jokes that highlighted important issues in the film industry such as women’s rights, harassment in the industry and Hollywood being more inclusive of minorities. With the Oscars looming less than a month away, many fans are anxiously waiting to see which movies, actors, actresses and directors will be taking home the awards. The 90th Oscars will be airing live from Hollywood on March 4, 2018 on ABC at 8 p.m. EST and will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, who is returning for a second year. The nominations for this year’s Oscars were released on January 23, and many people were shocked by some of the results. In the category for Best Picture, these nine films have been nominated: “Call Me by Your Name,” “Darkest Hour,” “Dunkirk,” “Get Out,” “Lady Bird,” “Phantom Thread,” “The Post,” “The Shape of Water,” and “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.” These five animated films have been nominated this year: “The Boss Baby,” “The Breadwinner,” “Coco,” “Ferdinand,” and “Loving Vincent.”...
