Bryant and Stump Secure Spot at IHSA Equestrian Regionals

The Maryville College Equestrian Team participated in its third competition of the 50th intercollegiate competition season on Feb. 11 and Feb. 12. The show consisted of a back-to-back show at Tennessee Miller Coliseum at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU).

Ten of the eleven teams in the IHSA Zone 5, Region 1 competed. Erin Buckley, a Maryville College freshman, was high point rider after winning first place in her jumping class as well as in her flat class. Tiffany Bryant and Jackie Stump both secured themselves a spot at IHSA hunt seat regionals coming up on March 17 at the University of the South.

IHSA Zone 5 – Region 1, in which Maryville competes, includes teams from Middle Tennessee State University, Belmont University, Murray State University, Rhodes College, Tennessee Tech, University of the South, University of Tennessee Knoxville, University of Arkansas, Vanderbilt University and Western Kentucky University.
