Movies and shows to binge this fall

Netflix: 

  1. “Charmed”
  • If you love witches and a show with many seasons, this is the one for you. “Charmed” is a classic and loved by many. 
  1. “Criminal Minds”
  • “Criminal Minds” is about the Behavioral Analysis Unit within the FBI. Each episode the team is on a new case whether about a serial killer or other crime. 
  1. “The Order”
  • This supernatural drama is great for people who love to imagine themselves in a different world. It is super easy to get sucked in so be prepared to binge watch.
  1. “Schitt’s Creek”
  • “Schitt’s Creek” is about a rich family who gets all their money taken away and they have to fend for themselves. Lucky for them, they bought a town through a bet many years ago. They never appreciated it until now when it is all they have left. A great show if you like lighthearted comedy. 
  1. “Quantico”
  • “Quantico” is all about how the FBI is trained and the process they go through. If you like action packed shows that keep you on your toes, a show like “Quantico” is the one for you.

Hulu:

  1. “The Act”
  • “The Act” is based on the true story of Gypsy Rose Blanchard. Her mother raised her because she has a lot of health problems and cannot do things for herself. Once she starts growing up, she learns she can do more than her mother tells her. 
  1. “Reba”
  • “Reba” is a classic older TV show. This sitcom is a lighthearted, but also heartwarming show about a recently divorced mom (Reba) getting through life; even having to put up with her ex-husband and his new wife. 
  1. “Raising Hope”
  • “Raising Hope” is a hilarious show about a family who barely gets by. Things get shaken up when main character Jimmy gets a serial killer pregnant. The show is based on how Jimmy raises Hope as a single dad with his crazy family.
  1. “Dave”
  • If you like the rapper Lil Dickey, this show is for you. It is a stupidly funny show surrounding the life of Dave Burd (Lil Dickey) before he became famous. 
  1. “Good Trouble”
  • Three Moms rob a grocery store when they are strapped for cash, and it turns into a hobby. These moms will do anything to get their hands on some cash and they end up getting caught up with a mob which makes everything worse. 
  1. “Last Man on Earth”
  • This show was released in 2015, but it is based in the year 2020-2021, a year after a virus kills everyone on earth. Main character Phil Miller believes he is the last man on earth and travels everywhere to find any sign of life. 

Disney +:

  1. “Hamilton”
  • This Broadway musical comes straight to your living room. “Hamilton” tells the story of founding father Alexander Hamilton and his struggle through life. 
  1. “The Incredibles”
  • The family of superheroes is a classic. If there is something wrong in the city, the Incredibles are there to save the day, even if they always end up going too far. 
  1. “Toy Story 1-4”
  • The “Toy Story” movies follow the character Andy as he grows up with toys who come alive when he’s not there. All the movies are funny and have a great message to them, whether it’s for an adult or a child.
  1. All the classics
  • All the classics include any TV show made between 2000-2016. “Suite Life of Zack and Cody”, “Hannah Montana” and “That’s so Raven”. Those are just a few of the many classics Disney+ has to offer.
