A Maryville Christmas Preview
Christmas is coming to Maryville College early this year. On Monday Dec. 5, the MC Performing Arts will be putting on their annual Christmas concert at the Clayton Center for the Arts.
This concert will include performances by the MC Community Chorus, the MC Concert Choir, the MC Orchestra, the MC Community Concert Band, the MC Jazz Band and the Scottie Singers.
The many groups will be showing off their talents while performing classic Christmas carols, as well as more contemporary musical scores.
Solos will be sung by both members from the MC Community Chorus and the MC Concert Choir.
Musical favorites such as “Carol of the Bells” and “The Christmas Song” will be performed. There will also be a portion of the night where the audience will be invited to sing along with the choruses.
A Maryville Christmas will begin at 7 p.m. It is estimated that the show will last between 1 hour and 15 minutes and 1 hour and 30 minutes. There will be a short intermission around the halfway point of the night, in order to rearrange the stage.
Please join these musical groups in the Clayton Center at MC this Monday for a festive and cheerful evening.
