Cheer on the Scots at homecoming pep rally

On Friday, Oct. 16 at 7:30 p.m., the MC Scotties Dance Team, the Cheerleaders and the Loud Scotsmen will be hosting the annual homecoming pep rally to spread some MC spirit for the homecoming game against Ferum the following afternoon at 2:00 p.m. The pep rally will take place in the main gym of Cooper Athletic Center.
The dance team will be performing two routines. They will also be performing a routine from their upcoming fall show on Nov. 14. The cheerleaders will perform stunts and lead a few cheers with assistance from the pep band.
In addition to performances, the dance team will lead games and winners will be awarded a prize. They will bring back some crowd favorite games from previous years, as well as adding some new ones to the mix. The dance team will also be carrying on the pep rally tradition, “Dancing with the Scotties”, where the team will grab a few football players to show off their best dance moves.
The pep rally will be a fun night where students can come together, play some games and most importantly cheer on the Fighting Scots.
