Vienna Coffeehouse to host “College Coffee Night” to help students through finals week
Maryville’s own beloved Vienna Coffeehouse will be hosting a special night for its city’s college students. Understanding that the coffeehouse is often a sacred place for student study time because of its caffeine and quietness, on Sunday, May 14, Vienna will be dedicating the entire night to college students.
Vienna be open until midnight, which usually closes at 2 p.m. on Sundays. In addition to the added hours, there will be a variety of featured activities. If you bring your own mug, there will be $2 bottomless coffee, and if you show your student ID you receive $1 off any drink.
Vienna will also be having raffle prizes, featuring free coffee, gift cards and the grand prize of a Hario V60 Pour Over Set. Complimentary popcorn will be available as well.
To give those attending a needed study break, there will also be a game room and corn hole set up. Don’t worry though, if you’re just there to study, there will also be quiet study rooms set in place.
The event will start at 7:00 p.m., so for a fresh place to study that’s not Thaw Hall, come to Vienna to study with friends and drink plenty of coffee. And if you’re still not done cramming by the time it is over, Thaw will still be open until 2:00 a.m. after the event so you may come back and study some more.
