MC Student Programming Board: Easter Egg Hunt
On April 5, 2021, the Maryville College Student Programming Board (SPB) hosted an Easter egg hunt for students.
Before the event started, members of SPB hid 2500 easter eggs with a variety of prizes. The event started with Alex McCullough, SPB Advisor, telling everyone the rules about social distancing and being fair to other participants.
Some of the eggs were filled with small items like candy and stickers, while others were filled with prizes like Maryville College pop sockets and other merchandise. The biggest prizes were C-store coupons and a brand-new pair of Air Pod Pros.

All the eggs were hidden in the green spaces around Pearsons, the Center for Campus Ministry, Anderson, and Fayerweather Hall. Some were hidden in trees while others were scattered on the ground.

Every student participating was gifted an easter egg basket to participate in the hunt.
The Golden egg with the biggest prize of the glorious piece of paper that said “winner! You have won a brand-new pair of AirPod Pros,” was hidden very discreetly, but also in plain sight by McCullough.

Twenty-plus students attended, and many were focused on finding the egg with the slip of paper saying they won the AirPods.
One lucky student, freshman Emily Huffstetler, found the golden egg and left with a pair of AirPods. Every student who participated left with a prize.
