If you love a creative, customized sandwich, then seek no further. Alcoa just welcomed a new sandwich shop to the area just in time for summer. Which Wich Superior Sandwich’s is a more user friendly, innovative way of ordering a customized sandwich.

Jeff Hensley, franchise owner and operator of the Knoxville locations just recently opened the Alcoa store and will also be opening one in Fountain City this year.

Which Wich has a unique concept which I have never seen.

Customers fill out what they want on brown paper bags making the ordering process easier. A classic sandwich can be ordered such as The Reuben, BLT, Gyro and the French Dip. Customers are able to create their own by choosing from a number of meats, cheeses vegetables, sauces and spices.

The large menu ensures that everyone can get what they want and leave satisfied.

In addition to their mouth-watering sandwiches, Which Wich also offers salads, chips, brownies, cookies and milkshakes. They also offer vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options.

I ordered the signature sandwich, The Wicked, which comes with five different meats, three different cheeses, and over nearly 50 extra toppings to choose from.

The five meats included turkey, ham, roast beef, pepperoni and bacon. For the cheeses, I chose provolone, swiss and mozzarella. With so many toppings to choose from, I went with red onions, pickles, banana peppers, chipotle mayonnaise, dijon mustard and salt.

I also ordered a bag of chips and a drink to my meal. The chips were Which Wich’s house chips. They were kettle cooked sea salt and cracked pepper seasoned. I was pleasantly surprised by these chips. I layered some on my sandwich and really liked it.

Which Wich makes an amazing sandwich. I was very satisfied with the way everything blended. Everything was very fresh, especially the bread. It was a euphoric experience as you bite down for the first time.

When you walk in, you can expect to be greeted by a friendly employee to walk you through the ordering process if it is your first time.

Classic sandwiches are priced at $7.50. The signature sandwich The Wicked is priced at $6.75 (7 inches), $9.75 (10.5 inches) and $13 (14 inches).

Overall, I was very impressed by Which Wich. The food was great and the employees are very helpful with the ordering process. I will most definitely be returning.

Which Wich is located in the Hamiliton Crossing Centre at 212 Hamilton Crossing Dr. Alcoa, TN 37701.
